A 3-Part Series to Living The Life You Deserve Not The Life You Settle For!

There are many reasons why we strive for success but the number one reason is to seek a better life. But what happens in seeking that life is we take on too much without knowing how much damage it is causing to our wellbeing. The stress of #overworking, #overbusyness, #overconnecting on social media, and disconnecting with ourselves becomes the norm. 𝐈 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐲𝐧𝐜. If you are that woman, the good news is you are not the first, there have been many more before you. I had my own wake-up call in 2015 when I suffered burnout. And so has Arianna Huffington (founder of @Huffington Post who has championed @Thrive Global an initiative to end the burnout epidemic, also check out her bestseller 'Thrive') 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐋𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐟𝐚𝐡, 𝐑𝐢𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐚, 𝐋𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐆𝐚𝐠𝐚, and many more. You are where you are because you are supposed to be there, but you can rewrite the next chapter of your life. Therefore, here’s what I want to offer you;- 📌 Commit to the change you desire and take action. If you do not commit you’ll live a miserable, frustrating life that will pass you by as though you have no control. 📌 Create boundaries at work so you are able to manage your workload without feeling resentment. 📌 Create an Employee Support Group that helps with overwhelm amongst the team. 📌 If you are employed, raise the issue with your organization to incorporate solutions in their employee wellbeing initiatives. If you do not ask you’ll never know how far you can get. 📌 Evaluate your responsibilities, take exercises, cut back on something but most importantly get enough sleep. 📌 Studies, have shown that practicing mindfulness and meditation helps you create a healthier and happier life.
