There are many reasons why we strive for success but the number one reason is to seek a better life. But what happens in seeking that life is we take on too much without knowing how much damage it is causing to our wellbeing. The stress of #overworking, #overbusyness, #overconnecting on social media, and disconnecting with ourselves becomes the norm. ๐ˆ ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ž ๐š๐œ๐ซ๐จ๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ฆ๐š๐ง๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐จ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง ๐ฐ๐ก๐จ ๐ก๐š๐ฏ๐ž ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ฅ๐ข๐ณ๐ž๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐ฐ๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ฒ ๐ฏ๐š๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ž ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฐ๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ฒ ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ž๐ง๐๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ข๐ซ ๐ญ๐ข๐ฆ๐ž ๐จ๐ง ๐š๐ซ๐ž ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ฌ๐ฒ๐ง๐œ. And so has Arianna Huffington (founder of @Huffington Post who has championed @Thrive Global an initiative to end the burnout epidemic, also check out her bestseller 'Thrive') ๐๐ฎ๐ž๐ž๐ง ๐‹๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ž๐Ÿ๐š๐ก, ๐‘๐ข๐ก๐š๐ง๐ง๐š, ๐‹๐š๐๐ฒ ๐†๐š๐ ๐š, and many more. You are where you are because you are supposed to be there, but you can rewrite the next chapter of your life. Therefore, hereโ€™s what I want to offer you;- ๐Ÿ“Œ Commit to the change you desire and take action. If you do not commit youโ€™ll live a miserable, frustrating life that will pass you by as though you have no control. ๐Ÿ“Œ Create boundaries at work so you are able to manage your workload without feeling resentment. ๐Ÿ“Œ Create an Employee Support Group that helps with overwhelm amongst the team. ๐Ÿ“Œ If you are employed, raise the issue with your organization to incorporate solutions in their employee wellbeing initiatives. If you do not ask youโ€™ll never know how far you can get. ๐Ÿ“Œ Evaluate your responsibilities, take exercises, cut back on something but most importantly get enough sleep. ๐Ÿ“Œ Studies, have shown that practicing mindfulness and meditation helps you create a healthier and happier life. If you have never tried it, perhaps now is the time for you to consider it.
