How To Recognize BURNOUT!

WebMD describes it as "a form of exhaustion caused by constantly feeling swamped."

WHO definition;

"Burn-Out is a syndrome conceptualized as a resulting from chronic workplace stress that has not been successfully managed. It is characterized by three dimensions:"

✓ feelings of energy depletion or exhaustion;

✓ increased mental distance from one’s job, or feelings of negativism or cynicism related to one's job; and

✓ reduced professional efficacy.

I suffered burnout in 2015/2016 and for that reason, I made the drastic decision to quit my business.

I see many women who are clearly on their way to burnout but they have no idea.

They are being women. Giving, giving, and more giving!

I encourage you to not make the same mistake. You can do something about it and you do not have to be a superwoman.

𝗪𝗛𝗢 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 ‘𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀.’

This goes to show how serious the condition is.

According to WebMD, the common causes of burnout are;

Unmanageable workloads

• Unfair treatment at work

• Confusing work responsibilities

• Lack of communication or support from managers

• Immense deadline pressure

Girlfriend, if you have any of these symptoms then you are on your way to burnout.

It may feel normal like your body is used to it.

But it is not!

But here's where the challenge gets even bigger.

If you are constantly feeling exhausted and swamped, how are you showing up for your loved ones?

Are they complaining?

Or are you missing out on many other things in life that you wish you could be a part of?

If this is you, you need to understand that the pressure you are putting on your body could easily turn into a physiological challenge. Easy!!!

In my adventures into Mental and Emotional Release (MER and NLP Practice) by Dr. Matt James, I found that diseases such as high blood pressure, ulcers, migraines and many others can easily be caused by the stress we put on our mind.

Therefore when the body is signaling exhaustion you ought to give yourself a break!

Get some well-deserved rest. Daily!!
